XQRJ organizing committee is the team of hostelites that manage one of the major productions of King Edward VII Hall. Being the core team that organizes the Chinese Song Writing Competition with a long history, the committee has over the years developed a certain team structure. As the committee receives a new batch of members every year, what was lacking for XQRJ was an opportunity for the members to get to know each other and discover ways in which they can work together – an element so vital in any production. That is why we decided to approach the Facilitators@NUS from the recommendation of a fellow KEVIIan who is a member of the facilitator team – Jian Sheng.

For 2 days 1 night, 47 resident assistants from three different student residences came together to put their leadership skills and teamwork into action. Putting their residential cluster duties asides, many finally got to put on their sporting gears and backpack as they go on a “mission” that is far beyond their role and responsibilities as leaders in their own residences.
